Hi,my Oscars seem to be fighting for a couple of weeks now and I have no idea why, they fight in mornings and at nigh time but at day time they seem to behave normal.
my bigger Oscar is 10-12"
my smaller one is 8-10"
the smaller one seems to get owned by bigger Oscar but after fights they start to swim together again, they fight nearly every other day and my smaller Oscars always get beaten up!!

is there any way to stop them fighting?
they are in a nice big aquarium 160uk gallons!!

Take one out of the tank, Oscars are chiclids, and do that territory thing by nature, The other option, put a blind fold on one :)

160 UK Gallons I'm assuming is Imperial gallons = about 192 US Gallons.

Some Oscars just don't get along, ever.

they did get along together for over 6 months and after fights they swim together like a pair.

If there is no serious damage don't sweat it. Typical O behaviour.

smaller one gets damaged fins and some scales as well and also he has some sort of scratches/cuts,they seen to heal very quickly.

Some fish just don't get along... it;s very possible that your smaller O finally hit a point where the bigger O feels a need to put the smaller in it;s place.

But it's also possible the smaller one just hit sexual maturity and the bigger one wants to hump it...

But to specifically answer your question...
