How to switch to dry foods

I have 2 gars taht are about 3 inches and i was wondering how would i get them to take dry foods. They havent touched anything but feeders..
Should i wait till their bigger?

I couldn't get my florida gar to take prepared food until it was about 8 inches...and it never took pellets only frozen food...hope this helped

dont train it at 3" try to grow it 7-8" and fatten it then starve it
