I have 5 IT's. 3 4"ers are in my 240. One of them is a total bugger and chases the other two as soon as he sees them. So they are always hiding and I never see them.
I have two smaller 2" IT's in separate tanks. They don't get along either, hence the separate tanks.
Do you all think if I move some of them around and mix the big small Dats together they might not chase as bad? I think they might not be as competitive with a smaller fish.
I need help....I want to be able to enjoy my Dats...not just looking behind the filters to make sure something didn't eat 'em.

agreed I have 3 and it's not a great thing but not horrible.it wouldn't be so bad if they were all closer to the same size but as is I have a 6.5" widebar,a 5" indo and a 2" indo....the smallest ind hides allot and the mid sized indo refuses to be forced into hiding but his bars are pretty light most of the time.

all still eat great though so I'm not too worried about it,esp. since I will not be having a chance to get more anytime soon.....moral of the story I guess is that yeah more is better and size isn't as big a factor as number.;)
