well my aowana tail fin has white layer around it and it has torn fin too its not so obvious though. Maybe im paranoid. its not alone and my snakehead is worst .. will fin rot spread? i did took out my snake head and put it in a smaller tank with medications.. but as for my arowana i'm not sure

well wait a bit and see if it rots more then you can be sure.. maybe you can just keep the water super clean with WC and a bit of salt that might help his tail fin. who knows bud they could be fighting each other
well i think fin rot is contagious, i think its caused by bad water quality, stress, part of a secondary infection. whats your water parameters?
