I was wondering how do you tell the difference between epalzeorhynchos kalopterus (flying fox) and siamese algae eater, Crossocheilus siamensis. I need the siamese for the black algae problem I have.

In the true flying fox, the black horizontal line goes completely through the tail. In the siamese algae eater the horizontal stripe ends at the caudal peduncle just before the tail.
