So I need to get rid of my tank at my house but I have an opportunity to bring the tank to my job. The water at my office stinks and I am sure had some issues with it. Toilet bowls here turn brown etc so I know something is wrong. Is there a test kit out there I can buy to check my water to see if it has high levels of anything that would be harmful to fish?

You can buy a test kit at your LFS and/or bring them a sample they should be able to test it free of charge.

find a lfs that specializes in SW... they should be useing liquid tests and have access to tests besides your usual nitrate/nitrite/ammonia/ph/gh/kh you find at your average lfs. Otherwise you can talk to the county offices about your water specifications, they should have that info or forward you to who does have that info. Chances are if your useing a water conditioner, the water should be fine. particularly if it's drinkable

This water is not drinkable haha. Used it to wash a bowl once and was sick on 2 occasions.

If its from a municipal water supply, put your city name, state and "water quality report" into a google search, and an annual report will tell you all about your tap water.
If its a private well, take a sample to your LFS
