Hi everybody !
I have added 8x discus in my tank last sunday and i see a very little beginning of ICH only on 2x of my discus now.
Im being careful because i have a stingray in the tank too.
My question is : Is Titan Green - Water purifier parasites & fungus, a safe medicine for my stingray ?
I have read adding salt and putting temperature higher helps alot.
My temperature is actually at 81F and is maxed (im currently looking for some stronger heating system for my 140 gallons if anyone knows something affordable feel free to let me know i would really appreciate).
Is it dangerous for my stingray to heat at 86F ? He is used to 78F and since i got the discus its around 81F wich seem to be the maximum for my equipment.
My water parameters are in perfect condition.

Thank you very much for reading me

Hard to tell with rays. There’s always been a ray safe med list around for a while. Most keepers would use that list. Not sure about the med you mentioned. I’ve seen other ray keepers. Keep the temperatures up to 86° w/o issue. Just make sure you’ve got good flow in the tank. Salt and high temps should be fine.

Thank you for your help i really appreciate. I will order rightnow a new heater since mine seems to not go over 82F.

By any chance, do you know any heater that is safe for ray burns and strong enough for 140 gals ?

Thank you again

I’ve used eheim heaters. Follow wattage recommendations for your tank.
