Ok I ordered it online and my mom never got an order confirmation. just so happens it was shipped ON THE 6TH and I just found out. I needed it for fishing 2moro but well be out there when the mail station opens. So I'll just have it for the future. To open one, you pull the string on the end, right?

I have the same thing (Lipper), I use it all the time. To open it you have to pull the plastic sleve with the "flange" back. The important thing to remember is to NEVER hold a large fish vertically with it. It can cause the spinal cord to stretch and other internal organ damage. The good way to use the lipper is to grab the lower lip of the fish with the lipper with one hand and use your other hand to support the body horizontally. If your one of those people that absolutley has to know the weight of the fish and the fish is large, then I would suggest puting the fish in a landing net and weight it in the net.

I know not to support large fish with it. Mine doesn't have a scale, it's more as a toll for handling fish that are tough to hold (Skates, Searobin, Catfish, Bluefish, Dogtooth Snapper, Bluefish, Sheepshead, etc.) Thanx for the info
