Hello--

I am placing an online order and get a special deal on shipping, so I am looking to add another fish to my order.

I have mostly mbuna in my 56 gal tank, but I also have an electric blue hap and a venustus that do well. How well do you think a Super Red Empress would do in the tank?

Peacocks don't do well at all--BTW:nilly:

*I know there are a lot of factors, but just wanted to know generally*

Thanks!

EDIT: Just found this online. Never mind. "As they are a peaceful fish, do not mix them with aggressive Mbunas"

I'm glad you did an edit. I was going to add that it will be a "super red" peacock, from all the chaos it would endure from the mbunas.

It can go both ways - it all depends on the individual fish's personality and their perseved territory. 55 gal IMO is not a good Hap tank, 75 min. but 100+ optimal. With a larger body of water the combo of Haps,Peacocks, and Mbunas becomes more do-able.
