how would i breed ghost shrimp?

I did it in a 10 gallon tank, all I really did was just get a bunch of plants and buy maybe a dozen or more ghost shrimp because they are only like 30 cents a piece and just keep them well fed and the best of luck, they usually spawn quite frequently.

I put 3 ghost shrimp in with my blue lobster hoping the lobster would eat them. Instead I ended up with about 50 little baby ghost shrimp everywhere. Just throw a few of them together and provide them with food. They'll work things out themselves.

a lot of shrimp sold under the name of ghost shrimp need brackish water. Shrimp can live in freshwater but the "larvae" form that is first born needs brackish water to survive

Not true. The larvae from them will do just fine in freshwater. A 10g tank with no fish/predators in it will do great. Cover up the filter intake with a prefilter (like a sponge) and have a gentle water flow with some plants/mosses. You will get lots of little shrimps in no time!:)
