I was going to setup a tank with:

4-5 peacock bass
1 oscar
1 jaguar cichlid

I was wondering how i should filter it would a 67g sump/wet/dry tank be efficient for this and then maybe a FX5 running? Would that be fine?

I think that should be fine for the tank. But instead of the wet dry, try a sump in which all the media is submerged and every inch of available space is used up in the sump with different media. Maybe an overflow box used as a wet/dry section.

Thats what i would do a sump and a fx5. In the sump get a large pump. I would go no lower than 1500gph. You can make up for its small size by adding a little more flow.

lol ya thats what i meant, a sump when you order a tank from glass cages, they can make a sump tank. But i think im going to the DIY section to make it, got a perfect 67g tank here at home
