Mine eats pellets off a spoon..

try feeding them smelt, or market shrimp. once you get them eating it regularly where they instantly recognize it as food hold it in your fingers and dip it into the tank, move slowly and they should come and grab it, but be ready to let go, every oscar i have fed gulps it in and doesnt hit it and try to take it from you.
