I did this about 3 months ago. My sal was still a juvi and was like 9-10 inches back then. I just caught it with my fish net. I then put it into a 2.5 gallon bag half filled with water and then filled the rest with pure O2. Put the bag into a cooler with my other bagged up fish and drove from the Bay area to SD (8+ hour drive 
). Oh I stopped feeding them a couple days prior to moving and kept all the tank water. I set up my tank immediately and didn't lose anyone!!!

I use a net for small lungfish as they move a lot. Just my own two hand for large lungfish as they don't seems to mind.
