Same here, if they are big and healthy and going into a healthy tank thier shouldn't be a problem. Knock on wood. Remember that I got most of my fish for free. If you have a tank full of pricey fish I don't think you should listen to me.

I dont have a quarantine tank but i do acclimate... if its hardy fishes i use the cup method but if its rays then i use the drip method and run for 1 1/2 hours to 2, making sure the water in the bag is the same as in the tank .

Accclimate all fishes, usually with drip line but sometimes with add water to bag method(cheaper fish). Quarantine most of the time, have 3 30g tanks always running for quarantining. After 30+ years of fishkeeping, I live by the "better safe than sorry" way of thinking.

umm
most fish i float for 30 mins and dump them in

rays i drip for an hour

expencive cats get driped

all fish that were shipped to me get dripped

I usually float for 20-30 minutes, and pour tem in letting only a little LFS water in the tank as posible. i recently tried to pour into a bucket and net, he was a royal gramma that was supposed to be very hardy, he's the only sal I've lost so far, 2 days after dropping in the tank. i think he was shocked by all the movment. setting up a quarentine tank tommorrow. gonna just drop fish and water in there after floating and treat the tank as needed.

Usually just chuck the new fish in if they're from a hobbyist....

I usually just float for 30 mins. Unless its a real big fish. In that case I usually just chuck em in.
