if i make a pond out of wood how would i make the wood water resistant.

any info and advise will be greatly appreciated. (its for my longnose gar)

i used a liner on my first, and am trying to decide between another liner or fiberglass for my second.

thanks guys. ant idea about how much it would cost? the dimensions are probably going to be somewhere around 4x4x2.

If you build a wooden (ply) pond use an epoxy based sealant that is safe for drinking. Don't forget to silicone the seams first. A product called koi-kote is available. Never used it though. For a pond that small I'd just go for a liner from home depot.

I would hope the people who visit this site are smart enough to not go out drinking epoxy based sealants or any chemicals. But yes I did mean drinking water safe.
