Howdy! Experienced fishkeeper, new to the site!

Hi,(Is this the correct place for this post?)
This looks like a friendly community, I hope to learn lots!

I've kept fish for ~7 years, but only started seriously last year. Currently have no tank as I'm moving in a couple weeks, but as soon as I settle in, I will start up all my tanks....
I've kept a lot of the basic beginner species, and then nano fish, but now I want to go into the world of cichlids!|

I have 2 40gal breeders(36x18), one will have south American fish(Rams, apistos, cories, tetras, etc), the other is the one I need help stocking:

I was thinking Mbuna, like Labs and maybe some other fish along with them? Maybe Jewel or Convicts?(Just throwing this out there, Sorry if they are completely idiotic!) Any other ideas?
