I'm new to the forum, but not fishkeeping. This seems like a good site, lots of people seem to know what they're doing with the large breed fish.
I personally like red tail catfish, plecos and bala sharks. I don't think balas count as monster fish, but considering the space they need I figure I can stretch it a little.
I currently have two gibby plecos, six balas and an assortment of other small fish. I am getting a240 gallon tank in a month or so for the gibbys and balas, and in a few years I'm getting a house so I can fill the basement with tanks and a 3K gallon bala tank (25 feet long). I really look forward to starting my red tail cat collection also.
