my name is chuck, i live in texas have 20 tanks and do fish rescue. currently i am rescuing alot of red belly pacus. is there any way we could all ban together to either educate the people selling and buying them or put a restriction on them e.g. must have at least a 250g tank or large outdoor pond or just sell them at your better lfs than your run of the mill lfs(chain) just trying to make sure the responsible ones such as ourselves can continue to keep the fish we want in our aquariums. if they keep releasing large fish into our waterways they will end up banning ALL lage fish. lets see what we can do together.thanks and god bless.

I agree, I think there should be a pacu education course at pet stores. Actually there should be an age limit as well. So that only responsible and well educated people can purchase these monsters.

We need more people that feel this way for this all to often abused animal.
 
im near bonham. lovin it. rescued another pacu today. guess i better hurry up and dig a small lake to put them in at the rate we are going lol
