I've been a lurker here for some time but having just set up a 250 gallon tank I felt I was finally worthy of becoming a member.
I live in the Ozark Mountains of NW Arkansas and all of my water comes from a spring. I have kept aquaria almost continually for about 50 years. Cichlids are among my favorites and besides a 70 gallon frontosa tank I also have 2 planted tanks( 50 and 30 gal) and a 125 cold water tank for fancy goldfish. Oh, and while not exactly monster, a 5 gal nano reef.
I have an attached aquaponic greenhouse with a 1,000 gal concrete tank for hybrid bluegill. I have a particular interest in integrated biosystems. I keep my 125, and now my 250, in my greenhouse.
Under consideration for the 250 are sterlets, Chinese hifin sharks, perhaps a large school of White Clouds, maybe some Ozark natives.
I'll be searching the archives for information and welcome any constructive advice/criticism/warnings etc. I love to learn and look forward to participating on this forum.
