hey i was thinkin about getting an arowana but i only have a 55g so my question is how long do you guys think i could keep a 4-5 in arowana in my tank before i would have to upgrade. thanks for the help

6 months at the very very most...figure an inch a month in growth at least.

thats what im doin now, and lfs have been saying about a year but it depends on how much you feed them and water conditions, but im trying to find a 180g as soon as a good one pops up on craigslist

A 55g is really too small... i would not recommend it.
