Well, i've decided to start up a freshwater aquarium. My name is Tim, i'm 23 and live in MI by the way. Anyhow, under my stipulations (fish must look good, hold their own, and be different than everyone else has) i was directed by many people to this forum. Hopefully, i will be able to get the knowlege i need for myself as well as to possible give any advice that i come by along to other people.
thank you all and i hope we all have a positive experience.

u where directed to the right place!
we will try our best to help!
:welcome:

:welcome: Well I'm one of the guys that keeps cichlids and I can direct you to neat fish that will bring you a lot of enjoyment.

What size fish are you thinking about and what colors are you thinking about?

If you go to the cichlids forum and look for posts from me about my fish and you can see some of mine.

Hiya, If you want something very different and cheap check out the congo eel thread under the reptils/other forum. a true monster that is both weird and cheap. I will get one as soon as I have room. Amphiumas are strange and very cool.

whats up tim i see u finally made it welcome aboard !

don't have one yet, I'm literally just starting out! I originally was thinking 50 to 75 gallon but the more research i do im thinking more like 150 to 180 gallon
