So I have a 150 gal and I have a AC 500 AC 70 and a bio wheel emperor 400. So in the bio wheel I obviously have the bio wheel and the marine land cartridges. In the 500 I have the sponge pre filter and bio rings and the 70 I have same pre filter and carbon bag.

My stock is assorted African cichlids like 6 of them a small Oscar and a Florida gar that's also small. Is my filtration good for now till I save for a fx4 or g6

I'd say you need more Bio filtration. I'd change the carbon out of the sq 70 and use more biomax and add a sponge filter. Or even replace the aq70 with a 110. But its some what of a light stock but if you keep to with water changes I think you setup should be good.

Thanks for the advice il be swapping out the carbon for bio max and will it help if I double up the bio max In each filter. I do 2-3 30% water changes a week.
