How's the shark looking?

How is my shark looking? Can anyone see the yolk? Any predictions on how much time is left until he busts open?

I don't see a yolk. I would say 1-2 weeks but please please please be patient. Can't emphasize this enough with these shark eggs.

Any guess on the species? I will give you a clue it is not megladon, but pretty close.

About a week.
Some type of bamboo shark (Chiloscyllium spp). Probably brown banded (C. punctatum).

Close, got the family and genus correct now just the species.

Egg size suggests white spotted bamboo (C. plagiosum).
But it looks like banding on the tail in the last picture, that leaves grey bamboo (C. griseum).

They are pretty cool. It might be the best fish you can have as a pet. They are easy to care for and are very interactive. The coral keepers in the hobby scare everyone away from saltwater. If you have an extra tank you should concider a shark. They aren't that expensive either.

Is my shark dead? I haven't seen it move or it's gills move in a couple of days.
