New 135 gal , 4 clown loaches, 4 bala sharks, 4 ID sharks, 4 columbian sharks, and 1 black shark. Let me know what you think. If it sounds like too much , please let me know.. as for the black shark,, I've heard that they can be aggressive. . if I shouldn't add it , just let me know. Thanks.. great site..

the first two sps. sound all right. then u run into probs. columbian sharks need to be in brackish water to thrive. IDs will out grow your tank fast. black sharks also will out grow your tank.

Agreed.... The ID sharks will get about 24" or bigger and the black sharks get like 36"
I do not know much about the columbian sharks though. I think you should just get more balas though. Add like 3 more balas and take out the ID, black, and columbians and that would be a sweet tank.

:D sounds like a good place for everyone to try to eat each other. haha jk. i would cut down on your stock a little bit. less can be more in a tank like that especialy if all of your fish have room to swim and can be happy.

Okay.. lets take a vote here then.. everyone help me out now.... which of the following sharks should I go with in my 135 gal ? I D sharks ?
Bala sharks ?
Columbian sharks ?
And how many of the one you choose.... this is just for fun.. I don't have my tank yet , not till the 25th.. and will still have lots of time to decide what to go with.

I would lose the columbians because they needmore and more salt as they grow, and both the black and iridescent sharks as they get two big.
Add 2 more clowns, 3-5 silver dollars, 3 tinfoil barbs, a horsefaced loaches or peacock eels, a bushy nose or scribbled pleco, and a cuckoo syndontis. You will end up with a very active tank.

i agree w/ guppy. that would be a sweet tank. what kind of filteration are u planning on?

Gee , thanks for the reply's everyone.. great site. I still in the works as far as filtration goes..thinking of 3 AC 500's. Not a big fan of the canisters.
Guppy -- could you put up some pictures of the following that you meantioned ... horsefaced loach, peacock eel, scribbled pleco, cuckoo syndontis.
