HRP and Blood Parrot cross???

So I have a Honduran red point (my avatar) and a blood parrot that seem to be preparing to spawn. The male digs out under a cave and the parrot sits in it while he patrols around the cave, chasing everybody off. The parrot will chase him off , so i have never seen them in the cave together. Does this sound like spawning behavior, and can such a cross even exist???

Sounds like spawning behavior and yes, its possible for a HRP and a BP to hybridize.

Here is a pic of the "happy couple"....its kinda weird, I have a female pink convict in the tank, but he chose the BP.

Yes this is spawning behavior and yes you will get fry assuming the male is HRP.
