just wanted to post a pic of one of my new HRPs, they are not very photogenic but with the flash on you can see the shine that covers their bodies.

Cute little guy's right! My pair is finally getting some size on them. Thier colors are amazing, like you said it's hard to catch the "shine" these guys have.

They're nice, I've always like them and sajicas. When they get mature they look like mini amphs. What are you thinking of setting up for them tank/scape/tankmate wise?

This is my male. He's about 2in now eyeballed not measured.


The pair, momma is being a bit camera shy, they have wiggelers in the cave thing there in the background

I have them in my 75g jack Dempsey tank, with mollies.

I guess the tank being 5deg warmer than normal put them in the mood again. This morning when I turned on the lights they were cleaning anorher spot, even tho they have wiggelers atm. This vid don't do justice to the colors they are showing right now. So very intense, and colors I never seen in them before. The females dorsal and pelvic fins are black, normally her blueish tint.

Yup just checked again, they do have live wigglers in the cave, yet cleaning off this log to lay more eggs?
