Does anyone notice their fish flaring up and changing colors while eating?
I love the look of my fish when they are super happy, but was wondering when the best time to take photos is...
pre- or post- feeding? morning or night?

Yes my cichlids used to flair abit, think its a dominace thing, they would all wizz up but only one would eat first,then it was a free for all.....

I just fed my snakeheads which again,all flair at each other and colour really intensifyes..

about an hour after a large water change seems to be the best time for me.
