I noticed the other day one of my danios and one of my cherry barbs had HUGE bellies. I mean HUGE!
They seem to have gone down now.
They were both swimming just fine, eating just fine etc.
Could it be that they were constipated? (To put it bluntly)
Or maybe they were pregnant?
Or maybe just female (and I'm too paranoid)?
They're not 'showing' any signs of illness or strange behaviour.

Any help would be really appreciated.

have they not eaten simply more food than normal?

my piranhas feasted on a huge earth worm the other day and their bellies were gonna pop! theyd gone down by the morning though.

i have this trouble with my dwarf snakehead all the time, he aeats anything"!!!

It could simply be that they had eaten too much.
I've started to feed less than I was already and it seems to have gone down, but they're still quite a big bigger than the other fish. The other two danios are really slim and a little longer so I'm guessing maybe the other is a female?
