Huge Gator Gars...

I cant for them to re-open....we should all do a MFK NorCal meet when it does! ~
 
anyone who wants to see monster gars, arapaimas, aro's, pacus, butti's, peacock bass, fw stingrays need to hit up seaworld sd. they have like a 50-100k gallon tank with manatis in them but they have huge 5-7ft long gator gars, 3-4ft arapaimas, 3-4ft red tail cats. they even have like 2-3ft monster plecos.
 
I can't wait for the re-opening of the Steinhart Aquarium! That' the only place around here with a good freshwater display. Sea World in San Diego isn't that good. It's really small compared the Steinhart.
 
probably because its sea world, they dont specialize in fw or aquariums in general. its not a aquarium. but still decent if ur a local. and get in free on a daily basis as i do.
 
Malcus, those gars I would have to say were in the 7-9+ ft. mark. Unbeleivably huge!!

Ethnics, haven't been down to Sea World in SD since 1999-2000. has it changed since?

It’s not the length of them that amasses me it’s how fat they are they are fin perfect superb:drool: nice picture dig some more out :naughty:
