i have a texas arround 2 and a half inches and he is tthick already but has a big hump on his head larger than i have seen before with some of the scales shedding away should i be worried i have been keeping cichlid for about 5 years and i have never seen this before my water is good

well, his fins looke a little nipped. I'de say thats just his nuchal hump with some battle wounds on it. He has some good potential.

thats what i thought but my girlfriend thinks he has a tumor he seems to like my female midas thats 3x's the size of him
Also, heseemsto be ahybrid. Iwouldposthim up on theFlowerhorn section and getsomeinput onhim. He also mightbetryingto breed withsomethinginthetank. His tubeisstickingout and he's gettinga little bitof abreeding dress. Thatmight explain theaggressionin the tank.
