Anyone buy these from rock exterior accents supposed to be aquarium safe polyethelene according to them. You could saw them exactly in half and have 2 large rocks to set flat to the back glass against a rock background for some great effects. This way they would not take up too much space in big aquariums.

The one thats on sale for $79. 18 inches high, 30 inches wide and 23 inches deep. After cutting it in half exactly you could have 2 only 11.5 inches deep or cut some of the center out and have it even thinner.

Can't you just use real rock for your tank. A lot of members use slate and I'm sure you can use some type of real rock. It would be a lot cheaper. The Doctor.

Well, it says......
[FONT=verdana, arial, helvetica]"Please note: These rocks are not hollow."
i would guess they are like a big plastic solid ball. I wonder how you or I would cut it on our own?

A good quality grinder?

Yes they are hollow, the ones I was looking at, they have different types on their site. The hollow ones are used to cover things in the yard and come in one or tow tone, very real looking. Cutting it exactly in two would give you two BIG rocks for a big aquarium.
