HUGE STING RAY!!!!!!!!!1

i think i saw this documentary on natl geographic right before they revealed the legend of HOGZILLA! haha.

the mekong catfish they caught was a record i think. and the ray they were hoping to be bigger. i dont know if the one pictured is the same one they showed some french guy reeling in but its massive.

weird that these monsters lived in rivers that my parents grew up around.
 
i'm at uni now. but i think i have a couple more pics of that ray on my comp at home..
 
That thing is huge! I'm pretty sure its dead as they ran that rope through its eyes!

humutura species..... i used to bring them in all the time but they were difficult to keep...... brackish..... just recently they went on the cities list.... so now protected......
 
That fish is out of the mekong river also right?
