Huge Sunfish?? where to buy?

I would like to purchase one of the strains of sunfish the grow up to 5lbs. Where can I order a very small quanity of them?

I have only seen places where i can order hundreds.....

Check your area for local fish farms, they will probably come off of a few for ya.

What sunfish species grows to 5 lbs? many record sizes for sunfish arent even 5 lbs!

oh... i apologize, i dont usually think of bass when referring to sunfish.

why not just say bass then?

crappie can get 4+ lbs
coppernose bluegill get big, but not 5 lbs

other than that, you'll have to get a bass

I think he is referring to some hybrids that are reputed to grow to 5 lbs plus not natural sunfish.

I've heard of hybrid bluegill (normally w/ green sunfish, but there are others) getting over 5 lbs in southern states (warmer water, longer growing season), but most don't get that big.
