hey, just a quick one here.... just reached exodon (relating to number of posts)... as you guys are remembering no question is a dumb question.... have never heard of an exodon... what the hell izz it exactly???

thanks.....

I wanna say its a type of tetra but I'm not entirely sure on that. They are crazy little schooling/shoaling fishies that eat the scales offa other fish....literally rip the scales offa other fish. Nasty little buggas....i think they get up to 6" to....so they are pretty bad ass....

Thanks for asking the question, Ive always wondered what the fish label meant. Now I know :) Not a dumb question at all bro. laterz

Anybody know if there is a posted graph or scale that shows the fish label progression in relation to ones post number??? It would be kinda neat to see :)

Exodon paradoxus (bucktoothed tetra) according to Axelrod they reach 6",

exodons are nice but kinda aggressive.. mine was more colorful than the pics you provided Guppy.

Btw GUPPY-aren't you supposed to be a guppy not a goliath tigerfish?

I've never asked about that, I think it relates to post count? Im still a guppy at heart ;)

Its in the tetra fam. but as pnut said its a ticked little bugger. I suppose 1 or 2 might not hurt if it was in with some killers of larger size but not too big so as to eat them. I wouldn't doubt though (consideration to the panzi pirhanas) that in a decent shoal/school they could definately damage some stuff no matter how big
