anybody have hujetas? and if so, what do you feed them. I have 3 and my guys just arent eating the krill or guppies I have thrown in. they dont look starved quite yet though.
they wont starve themselves to death, just let their stomachs churn, after a few weeks youll start noticing that the guppies are vanishing. they could probably go for well over a month without food if they had to.
I have 3 hujetas that live with 2 dino eels, 4 bullheads, a BGK, 2 plecos, 1 spotted rapheal catfish, and some small community fish.
When I put feeder rosies in there (4 dozen) they dissapeared in 2 days.
how often should I be feeding them and how much, and what else will they eat?
i feed my hujetas krill, goldfish, and guppys. u have to make sure the krill floats or is seen moving in the current i've noticed they only eat moving food hope you get yours to eat.
Had mine in a tank with all sort liked being in the faster flowing water got them eating mussels and small worms droped into the fast flowing water they hit it like a live food
