Hi there i work at a lfs and have one of these, I kno a couple people who have them too and I have been wondering about how big they acualy get? iv done some research on them and I see it says they can reach up to around 28" but iv never seen or herd of one biger then about a foot(in person or on the internet). and jsut wonderd If anyone els has these and what their experiace is on their max size. so far this is what iv been telling the customers, so I would like to hear more feedback because if they dont acualy get this big I dont want to keep scaring people away form this awesome fish. thanks

how long does it usually take for a hujeta to reach about 12"? i've read they reach close to 2 feet in the wild but usually 12" or so in captive. what causes them to not reach full length in size?
