hujeta

just picked up a ctenolius hujeta at about 3". put some pellets in and he didnt seem interested. got him some feeder guppies and grass shrimp to get him eating as a start. anyone have troublegetting these guys on pellets or something like krill. also didnt seem to interested in the bloodworms but its only been a day.

also i was wondering what experinces members have had with these fish and keeping them with other fish? and also if anyone has a picture of them full grown? it seems like all i see is juvie pictures when i google them. thanks

mine would not eat until there was a "buddy".......i strongly suggest another hujeta or another predatory type top water fish. mine was with a silver arro.

what size are you keeping him in? tnak mates(some smaller ones may disappear)

right now hes in a 10g growout. planning on putting him in with some tinfoil barbs, firemouths, and a pike cichlid. gotta wait till he's at least like 6 inches
