Hujetas with Indo Datnoid?

A dat will get way too big for a 65 or 75.

My main concern with housing these two fish together is how much more massive the dat is. If they're the same length, the hujeta would be a nice spaghetti shaped bite sized snack for the dat. The hujeta would need to be a bit larger in the beginning for this to work.

I agree with Rob. Not mentioning tank size which the Dat will outgrow, they will be fine initially but as the Dat grows high and the Hujeta grows long, it will be a delicious snack eventually.
 
The dats will eventually eat the hujeta.
 
I think the ctenopoma would be a much better match. They top out at what, six inches? A hujeta could hold its own with something that size.
