humidity issues

I'm in the proccess of renovating my room, and i would love to have a little indoor pond. maybe like 400 gallons. but ive read that the eveporation can cause mold/mildew issues, and other things. so i was wondering if i could just get a de-humidifier and put it in the room?

dont use a de humidifier as it will draw water from the pond. you will be better to use an extractor fan

use a window ac unit and bring down the dew point
dehumidifier is garbage

Heat exchanger if you can afford it.Dehumidifyer is going to have to work too hard with an open pond.

I have seen a lot of luck with bathroom fans installed that are hooked up to de-humidastats. They are more efficient than dehumidifiers, and will get the job done.
