Everyone was telling me that my Angel fish would be the one trying to out-compete the Discus for food. Nope. It is the Bichir. He is Hungry. All the time!

Oh yeah. Some of them can be pigs. Others, not so much. I have a congicus that will eat a full talapia filet every day if the others are too slow.
It's pretty crazy. The discus are still juvies so I'm feeding them 4 to 5 times a day, and the bichir always sprints out as soon as the food hits the water.
My Senegal is the same way, but he is picky. When I feed flakes, he's zoomimg every where looking for what HE wants, and won't stop until he is fed something just for him
He'll eat it all. Discus pellets, veggie flakes, frozen krill, beef heart and brine shrimp. Not picky at all. I'm worried he's gonna get fat

I had an issue with an obese delhezi in my grow out tank. She looked absolutely hilarious. Almost like a short body lol.
I have 3 that will eat a whole tilapia fillet if they can lol fat fat fat ..... Some r just hogs man can't do much about it some will eat till they r full some r picky some will eat just a tiny bit every now and then and some will eat there selves to death lol
