Hey guys do right now I have a 60 gal, 55 gal, somewhere between 40-55 gal, and a 20 gal tank set up, I'm in the Jacksonville FL area and were about to get hit with the bands from Issac. My area is prone to losing power... What can I do if the power goes out as far as aerating my tank and keeping my fish alive? Just need to be prepared for the worst

Go to an auto part store and buy a electrical converter box that connects to your battery and run an extension cord from it to your filters and power heads. If you have near by you a sams club or like a big club type of store, they also carry them. I got one here in PR. Preparing for Isaac but didn't need it..

This is probably the most realistic an affordable option for me right now. Only issue I can see is the exhaust fumes from the car. Obviously I couldn't leave the car outside, so my garage door would have to be opened and probably running a fan pointing out, assuming its raining. I'll definitely look into this
