hurrry i neeed help!

i bought a 2 inch EBJD on friday at my lfs. he is now swimming around wierd and laying on his side sometimes. the is something wrong with him.

what should i dooo??!?!?!?!?

i have him now in a breeder by him self in the tank he was in.

im gonna say most likely not, usually swimming around aimlessly and lying on its side are bad news. what are your ammonia levels like? also sorry about fish

i just measured it. its 0-0.25 ppm

i havent cleaned the tank in a while but it seems to be fine. there are other small fish in the tank also.

i put some melafix in the tank for another fish yesterday, could that have contributed to it? the EBJD was lookin good yesterday.

i dont know if ur gonna be able to get it back. i heard those ebjd's are pretty sensitive

yeah.... he hasnt moved for a while and unless he is gonna wake up or something, im pretty sure he is dead.

is there any chance of that? a current is flowing over this gills still

What are your nitrates?

You said you hadn't cleaned the tank in a while.... taking a fish from clean water and putting it into a tank with old dirty water is almost guaranteed a dead fish.

You didn't quarantine the new fish? I hope none of your other fish get sick.
