You would expect nothing less from the country that brought us Barbie wedding dresses and the wedding robot - now a lingerie company has introduced a bra for Japan's husband-hunting women.

It probably works psychologically, more than anything else. For the wearer, it makes her feel in control of her situation. For the target, especially in an Asian culture like Japan, where subtlety is state of the art, it takes out the ambiguity of who is available
