The markings of the Polypterus Ansorgii in your photo resembles that of an endlicheri bichir especially if you will look at the markings in the caudal half of your bichir's body.It might be a cross breed between an ansorgii and a polypterus endlicheri endlicheri.There are a lot of beautiful photos of wild caught ansorgii specimens here in this website.I suggest you take a look at those beautiful ansorgii photos and from there you will see the difference in the markings of wild caught polypterus ansorgii and a cross between an ansorgii and an endlicheri bichir.
