Hybrid Pbass

Has anyone seen a cross betwwen Pbass species? Like a Tem with a Mono? I bought a Pbass labeled as a Tem, but it doesn't look like Tem...more lie a Mono. But as it grows, it doesn't look like a Tem or a Mono. It kind of has alittle spotting at the end of it's body and the big black spots on it's side has a faded verticle line running down it's body and it's fins are pretty dark. It's pretty small, but I'm just curious if anyone has encountered some Pbass like this.

There are several articles online that I have seen about hybrids naturally occurring in the wild but I have never heard of one in captivity. It will be very interesting to see adult pictures of your bass I can't wait

suposidly a fogo or fire peacock is a cross between a orino and a tem. i started a thread on them so get scrolling

It could very possibly be just a mislabled fish.

There are a number of high breeds in captivity. Most of the Pbass that are wild in Florida are crosses between ocellaris and monos. There are also mono/tem high breds from other countries...
