I am getting some baby Hybrid Tiger Bass next week and am looking to raise them to a decent size (at least over the winter & early spring) before stocking into my farm pond.

I have read that they are a cross between the northern LMB and the florida bass, but have been able to find precious little aquarium care information on this relatively new hybrid.

Does anyone have any experience raising baby/ young tiger bass?

Same requirements for LMB which the tiger bass is. Tiger/Gorilla bass are just a hybrid between two subspecies of LMB. So I would treat Tiger bass like a LMB.

Thanks! I hope (assume) that they have also aquired some of the hardiness traits of the Northern LMB. Ultimately I plan on these monsters being inhabitants of my farm pond.

It has never completely frozen over since moving there in 1979, but the temperature of the largest above ground spring feed was between 12 - 13 degrees C in the hottest part of the summer last month!

I doubt seriously if pure Florida's would adapt well.
