Just a quick update of a couple of my hybrids. Both rays are Motoro X Mantilla X Leopoldi.
First my male pup I got a couple of months ago, he has been going great. Bottomless pit when it comes to feeding, staple diet is Otohime pellets and supplemented with fresh squid and the occasional feeding of silver sides. Growing quickly, and starting to morph. He should be pretty special in about 12months time, and should compliment my females nicely as they are stongly influenced by the mantilla genes.
Next is one of my girls. Again, growing fast and doing well. She is an accurately measured 14" Across the disk. Got her (and 2 more females) in early January as young pups. Strong mantilla influence in this girl, pretty cool when viewed from above almost looks brain like.
