My Hydor Koralia 4 stopped working, I think it overheated as I did my water change (should have switched it off)

After playing about and taking it apart I got it to work by just letting it cool down. However I snapped the ceramic shaft (lucky I have a spare) however there is a small bit of the shaft still inside motor section. How can I get it out??

Thanks

I had sand stuck in one of my Koralias and somehow it seemed like the sand was stuck to the magnets. I took it outside and hosed it off full force with the hose. Got it all out pretty good.

I'd use a finishing nail like a chisel to break it up. Jst start gently anr infrewse forward force if needed.
