somewhere close to you...
I have a 240-250 gallon tank and I currently have two different types of Powerheads...One is really strong and the other one is weak... I don't know what make they are except the weak one looks like a powerhead but I think its meant for a 60-100 gallon tank...

I saw a Hydor Koralia #4 Powerhead for $25 and since I'm new at this I would like to hear some feedback or advise on what types of powerheads are worth buying?

I have 7 3-3 1/2" RBP's in my tank and I want to avoid the waste and left over food to sit on my gravel, I read that strong flowing current will help minimize the amount of debris left over...Since the current will blow the waste into my overflow....?

koralia 4 will be too weak for such big tank, it's more suitable for 4ft tank. had it in my 75g my rhom loved it.
with a big tank like yours you can go higher. Koralia magnum 6, 7 or 8 would be a good one to use. the 8 outputs 3250GPH (wave like, not jet of water like most power heads), you can probably use just one power head if you go with the 8. it uses only 19W so will save you some money in the long run without the need of running two power heads.
I have a used one in mint condition (used only for 1-2 weeks), pm me if you are interested.

:iagree: you need something with more power i have 2 k4s on my 125 and i get your desired effect but i think you will need something with more power to achieve this in a larger tank
