Are they reliable, work well ?

so far for me its a good price and is reliable. i use 3 of them in my 3 tanks. Im pretty sure other people had bad experiences with them but for me so far so good

Theo's are the only heater I use, period. I've never heard a bad word about them.

Iv'e had three (replaced twice) and they all ran about 5 to 7 degrees warmer outta the box then the setting, and kept climbing. I still to this day find it hard to belive I got three duds in a row, but I guess I did. Switched brand and alls well.
